My Husband Has a Dream....

We've signed the both boys up for Beginning Band this year. Nik is going to play the baritone and Jake will be playing the trumpet. Pete has now decided that he needs to play the tuba. Great...just when our neighbors were starting to smile and wave again!!

Pete said he thought it would be nice for us to play together...I play the flute. Lovely....I can see it now, I was thinking along the lines of playing something nice for a church service but I wasn't quite seeing the tuba in the picture...or rather, I couldn't imagine a loud tuba being played early on a Sunday morn! As I'm thinking about this, Pete announces to me that he has found the perfect thing for us to play together and he wants me to listen to the video he's found on YouTube. Remember, I'm thinking along the lines of something nice and pleasant. He starts the video and what do I hear??? Dueling Banjos!! Uh...what?! Not quite what I had in mind but I guess it will do...I wonder what kind of message could be given that morning....hmmmm......I wonder......
