I am So Pleased!

Look what I got in the mail today! I just love it and I’m so pleased with how it turned out!!

A few days ago, I uploaded a photo to CanvasOnDemand.com. It took me awhile to pick which photo I wanted to use. Finally I decided to submit this one with my mother in law and my son , Gus. I wasn’t really sure how this whole photo to canvas process would turn out…would the photo be clear…would the color be good? Well, today the Fed Ex guy delivered my canvas and I will have to say that I am 100% pleased…no, make that 110% pleased!! I was going to have it framed but I love the gallery edging and I’m going to leave it as is!

When I ordered my canvas, I did not ask for any kind of touch-up though it was offered. Gus’ eyes were red and of course, his skin and schlera were extreme yellow due to his liver failure. I didn’t want to pay the extra for the touch-up even though I will not have a problem with it next time! There was a place to leave a note concerning touch-up details but I skipped that since I wasn’t paying for the service. I was going to be ok with the red eyes…

When I opened up my canvas today, I was so completely surprised!! They had gone ahead and fixed Gus’ red eyes and…..they had corrected his coloring! I have never ever seen Gus a normal color…do you all have any idea what a huge gift this is to me and the people at CanvasOnDemand.com have no idea! I will certainly be e-mailing them to let them know how happy I am with my canvas!

I think my next photo I will have done is a wedding photo. September 11th is mine and Pete’s anniversary and one of my goals this year is to frame one of our photos and hang it up on the wall. I can’t think of a better anniversary gift than our photo on a canvas!

Oh, then there’s birthdays, graduations, family reunions…..I think these canvas pictures will make great gifts!

This is the original photo.

This is the canvas!! :)
