We watched Bridge to Terabithia yesterday....break my heart! Pete, Belle and I all cried like big bawling babies during a certain part of the movie. I knew that this movie had a part that would make us cry and I was uncertain if we should let Belle watch it...but then, Pete reminded me that she had been through more than what she was going to see in the movie...not reffering to the imaginary land but of what happens to Leslie.
There were quite a few scenes that opened up good conversation about salvation, imagination, creativity and how we treat others. All three kids want this book to be our read aloud after Treasure Island. I think that can be worked out!
