I would want a rental that is oceanfront with a hot tub. The past few times I have been to the beach I haven't been able to enjoy the hot tub because I have been pregnant. So, don't be surprised to hear that I have spent the whole vacation in the hot tub!
When I'm not hot-tubbing I would like to go shelling and beach-combing. I've heard that shelling in the Outer Banks area is great. I even have a shelling guide that Crazy Tanya gave me as a birthday present....so, I'm set!
I can hear the ocean now.....

I live nearby, and to warn you this is a busy time of year to visit the Outer Banks. I'd suggest after Labor Day when it's still warm enough to enjoy the beach, and not all seasonal businesses close up immediately.
