My Dog Has Fleas...

Scritch, Scritch, Scritch….

That’s the sound of my little dog Milo scratching because he has fleas. I’ve tried the flea repellent that you put between the shoulder blades but it doesn’t seem to work well.

So where do I go, other than the very expensive vet, to get the information I need? Well, earlier today I found out about The Flea Control Guide. This site is exactly what I’ve been needing…it’s chocked full of information about dealing with fleas!

I guess our next thing to try is flea collars or maybe I will try a natural remedy…that sounds more like what I would like to do!

Thats wierd that the commercial stuff didnt work, Ive always had great sucess with it for my cats, I hope it was just a fluke.

Best natural remedy Ive heard - but never tried - is brewers yeast mixed into thier moist food. It supposedly gives them some B vitamins as well. Since I havent tried it I dont know what the 'dose' is - but its unlikely to hurt!

Whoops I posted my comment to the wrong place, lol. Can you delete it?

I have read that fleas, ticks, etc, can build up a resistance to certain applications on the market. I haven't found the reason why.

A few natural repellents are citronella, lavender, brewers yeast, apple cider vinegar.

I always questioned the products on the market because if some have the ability t kill the insects instantly what in the world are they doing to my pet over time?
