Blue Lagoon

I don’t struggle with Psoriasis but I do know several people who do and I get the impression that it’s not fun to deal with at all. Most people think psoriasis is just a skin condition, but it also can affect the joints…ouch!

There have been several different kinds of treatments for people who have psoriasis. One of the more appealing treatments has to be found at the Blue Lagoon - Clinic. This treatment consists of bathing in the Blue Lagoon and light therapy. Ok…this sounds nice even if you don’t have psoriasis!!

It is recommended that treatment takes place over a three to four week period, but you will see healing occur within the first week! You will need a referral from your dermatologist.

Head on over to the Blue Lagoon for all the details! Neat!!

Medical ID Bracelets

So, what would happen if you had a medical condition and you needed help but were unable to speak?

Having a Medical Identification Bracelet could be very helpful…it may even be what ultimately saves your life!

At American Medical ID, there are a lot of different variety of bracelets to chose from and all are engraved for free. There is even a “just for kids” section! Neat!

If Gus were still with us, I think I would have him wear the kid's sportsband. He would think it was cool!

What Is Zit?

I’ve noticed here lately that my boys are starting to have some issues with acne. It’s not bad enough to need medication…yet. All this reminds me of a guy I knew in high school who had terrible acne. He was made fun of all the time which was very heart-breaking. I remembering feeling so bad for him. Back then, the only thing I can remember being available was Stridex and I’m sure that it wouldn’t have helped him much because of the severity of his acne.

Today there are quite a few different treatments on the market. In fact, there are so many different treatments that it can be difficult to find the one that is best for you. Do you need an over-the-counter medication or do you need one that is prescribed by a dermatologist? Which treatment is the best? What are the side effects of using different treatments? These are just a few of the questions you will find yourself asking.

At My Acne Treatment Review, you can get a great overview of some of the best acne products available. There are reviews for three of the top over-the-counter treatments and even information for those who have sensitive skin. There is a lot of information about the leading active ingredients in today’s treatments. You may have heard of some of these…benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid and sulphur. I have heard of benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid being used in acne treatments but I haven ever heard about sulphur! Come to find out, sulphur has been used to treat acne since the days of Hippocrates. Interesting! Being a home school mom, I love to discover new facts!!

At the My Acne Treatment Review, you can read articles about acne and acne treatments. You can also sign up for the newsletter and receive a report titled "Facing Acne and Treating Acne Scarring" absolutely free!

It's always wise to gather as much information as possible when you are considering different acne treatments. My Acne Treatment Review will be a good source of information for you!
