A Corner Desk It Is!

I’ve been looking at computer desks for awhile now. I’ve seen a lot of different styles but I’m still not 100% certain about what I want exactly. This is when I really like for Pete to step in and make some suggestions. Now, a lot of times, his suggestions need to be ignored ‘cause the man just doesn’t have what we call “the decorating skills”! This time, however, I think he just might be right when he suggested that we start looking at corner desks.

Could I possibly keep this one cleaned off?? That’s my only concern…there are the drawers though that I could open up and sweep everything into….hmmmm….I like this new idea!!

This desk is manufactured by Bush furniture . The color is great and it seems to have a lot more desk space than I have now. I would want to do something with the printer though…I wish there were some way to kind of camouflage it….we’ll have to be creative with that!

Tackle It Tuesday...Desk Edition

Man oh man...why do I let it get so bad like this???

And just a quick 6 minutes later it looks like this! Now, really, folks...I may complain about not having enough time but sheesh....it took six minutes! Six minutes to a clean work area....maybe I need to pin this photo up on the desk as a reminder of what it's supposed to look like.

See the dog on the monitor? That is Gus' nasty dog.....gosh I miss that little yellow boy!!

Furniture Shopping...Still

So, you know that I’ve been shopping for a couch for our den since the boys have completely broken it down. I really like the recliner seating like in home theaters but I’m starting to think that would not be the best choice. I think something like this sectional would be a better choice for Living Room furniture. I don’t know though…this is such a tough decision. I need to do some measuring...

Lately, I have been doing some shopping at Furniture From Home. I think the prices are really good and I love that they have free shipping! I also like that the site shows several different photos of the different pieces of furniture. It’s very easy to navigate…and did I tell you that the prices are great?!

After I replace the couch, I’m going to head over to the furniture home office section to look for a computer desk and a chair. I really need a good chair so I can blog in comfort!! After that, I’m going to check out the bedroom furniture for my bedroom….it’s so time for a bedroom makeover!
