The Co-operative Bank’s tagline is “Customer led, ethically guided”. This company strives to promote human rights which means that it will not invest in any government or business that is not observing human rights. There are several other areas such as Right to Life, Freedom from Torture and Right to Take Part in Government that the Co-operative Bank strives to observe and promote. I really like that this company doesn’t invest in business that are involved in the development of Genetically Modified Organisms. This means no investments in a business that clones animals. There are also no investments in businesses that test beauty products and household products on animals. I think this is great!
