Yuck!

Can you even imagine?! I saw a similar story on the Discovery Channel about a woman that came into the ER...or I guess it's the ED (Emergency Department)now and she was complaining about these bumps on her head moving around. Finally, the doc caught sight of one of the larvae sticking his little head out of one of the bumps! Freak me out...just go ahead and send me on to my Maker if this ever happens to me!!

It's Almost That Time Again....

Well, folks are you all getting all revved up for Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest?? I've read that last year's weiner winner, Takero Kobayashi, has an injured jaw...does this mean that maybe someone else could take the Coveted Mustard Yellow Belt away from him? Today, at the weigh-in, Kobayashi could hardly open his mouth. Some are suggesting that his injured jaw is just a ploy....a way to play head games with the other contestants. Kobayashi says that he doesn't care what others think.

I'm just bummed because Carlene LaFevre isn't competing this year...I was really looking forward to the "Carlene Pop"...sigh....
